This is the most common Okin control unit used on beds with dual massage. It operates a head and foot lift motor and supports 2-4 massage motors. There are several variations of this control unit with the same model number but different part numbers (JLDP #). They are all interchangeable. This unit has one multi function port to support various features such as a sync cable, power down box, under bed lighting and USB ports. To connect more than one feature you must use various 2 or 3 lead splitters, depending on how many options you add.
This control unit uses the Ergo Essentials input cord and a 29 volt/2 amp power supply.
Most all Okin dual massage hand wands can be used with this control unit. There are two ways to sync the hand control to this unit. If you have the power down box attached, you will press the round black button on top of the power down box twice, causing the white LED light beside it to light up. You then immediately press and hold the push button inside the battery compartment on the hand wand. it will blink several time, then both the light in the hand control and the light on the control box will turn off. It should then be synched. If it will not sync, check that the "Child Safety Feature" is not activated on the hand wand.

KEESON CU380/MC120 CONTROL SYSTEM
This control system is for beds with no massage. It is interchangeable with the CU358-2-l control box above but has a different multifunction port. It was always labeled as the MC120 (with various suffixes) but lately has been coming through with just the CU380 model number.
The lift motor plugs have 2 horizontal pins. It is a 29 volt system. Most Okin no massage hand controls will work with this control system. It uses the same power cord/power supply/input cord as the CU358-2 control units.
There is a slightly different procedure to sync the hand control to this unit. Instead of pressing the "Reset" button (there isn't one) and then pressing the button inside the battery compartment of the hand control, you simply unplug the box, plug it back in and then press the button inside the battery compartment of the hand control.
This control unit can be used in place of the CU358-2-L control unit but you will lose the emergency battery down feature. However, you can order a "Pigtail" that holds two 9 volt batteries in its place. It also uses a different sync cable.

This control system is for beds with a single massage. It is interchangeable with the CU358-2 control box2 but has different multifunction ports.
The lift motor plugs have 2 horizontal pins. It is a 29 volt system. Most Okin dual massage hand controls will work with this control system. It uses the same power cord/power supply/input cord as the MC120 and CU358-2 control units.

This is a Linak control unit for use with a wireless hand control. It does not have massage functions. There are no universal motor jumpers so the plugs on your motors must match the plug on the j-box exactly. It uses the same power supply and cord as the wired system above.

Beta-Raven control units were used in Maxwell, Craftmatic, and Leggett and Platt bases. They are not used in any of the new bases out there but I still have access to them. There were several different versions and frequencies so I have to see the label to know if the current version available will work. There is only one hand control left (LS-SC@) that will work with the current version of the box. They are also the control unit in the upgrade kit for the old multi colored Maxwell control units (see next entry).

| Maxwell Products Inc. went out of business back in 2003-2004. You cannot purchase hand wands or control units in the original frequencies. You must install the Maxwell to Raven upgrade kit - $480 - $520 per kit. (New txl bases start at $649).
I have pictured a Maxwell control unit at left. That exact one is for the LVCO control unit and is pink in color. There were many different frequencies over the years, each a different color. These colors were: beige, blue, yellow, grey, green, green with an orange band. None of them were interchangeable.

Richmat is notorious for having control boxes with the same model number but different features and frequencies. For this reason, I most frequently sell the hand wand and the control box as a set. I have listed some of the differences below.
The HJC18 box came both with and without massage motor plugs.
The lift motor plugs had either 4 or 8 pins in them. I can't get the HJC18 with the 8 pin lugs, You must use the hjc9G control box instead.
Their hand controls were the same way. They may look alike but are not always interchangable.
The older boxes had a push button on the top for syncing the hand wand to the bed. The newer boxes have a bulb with a push button on the input cord (cord between the control unit and the power supply).

The lift motor plugs in this box have 4 pins. It is is guaranteed to work with the HJH37 hand wand. It may work with the HJH13D control also but I cannot guarantee that. It has a built in "input cord with syncing button". There are 2 possible ways to sync this box to your hand wand. When it does sync, you will hear a tone from the control box.
1. While holding the head down and the foot up button, press the sync button on the input cord.
2. While holding the head up and the foot up button, press the sync button on the input cord.

The lift motors that plug into this box have 8 pins. It uses the HJH55 hand wand.
There is only one port for both the head and foot massage motor. You must use a massage motor splitter to connect the massage motors.
It has a built in "input cord with syncing button". There are 2 possible ways to sync this box to your hand wand. When it does sync, you will hear a tone from the control box.
1. While holding the head down and the foot up button, press the sync button on the input cord.
2. While holding the head up and the foot up button, press the sync button on the input cord.

The current model has a built in input cord with an integral button for pairing the hand wand. You can see it in the picture. On older models, the pairing button was a part of the control box and they may have had a separate input cord. It also has a port for USB and a port for underbed LEDs.

This is the box i have available for Richmat bases with dual massage. They make 2 versions of the this control box. One is for bases without head tilt and one is for bases with head tilt.
The control box pictured here is for bases with the head tilt feature. It is a different control frequency than the box without the head tilt and the hand controls, though the same model number, are not interchangeable. The lift motor plugs on this box have 8 pins. It has a port for both a heal tile motor and a lumbar lift motor. The head massage motor and the foot massage motor share a port so you have to have a Y cable adapter for the massage motors plugs.
The current model has a built in input cord with an integral button for pairing the hand wand. You can see it in the picture. On older models, the pairing button was a part of the control box and they may have had a separate input cord. It also has a port for USB and a port for underbed LEDs.
