CABLES FOR SYNCING TWO BASES TOGETHER

There are two ways to make two separate bases operate at the same time. You can program both bases to one control but there is no guarantee that they will respond to the signal at the exact same time. The more reliable way is to use a "Sync Cable". Each end of a sync cable plugs into the control box under each base. There are two advantages to this method:
1. Each base will still have a hand control, either a plug in one or a wireless one. The beds will operate when either one of the control is used so either occupant can control the bed, not just one of them.
2. When a button is pushed on either control, a signal is sent to each base at the same time, allowing them to start moving at pretty close to the same exact time.
Different brands of control boxes use different sync cables. The plugs are different on each type of cable.

OKIN SYNC CABLE, DOUBLE PLUG
This cable is for use on Okin Control Systems. Even though it looks like the plugs on a wired hand wand, it will not function the same as an Okin Y Cable if you try to use it on an Okimat 2 motor. The extra plug on each end enables various options, such as under bed lights, to be plugged in.

The Adjustable Base Split Top Adapter connects two bases together for independent head operation and synchronized foot movement. It is compatible with Okin control boxes with a "multifunction" port. It is made for split top mattresses but can also be used on bases with two individual mattresses. Just buy a split top sheet to fill across the mattress split at the foot. This kit cannot be used on a base with "wall hugger" or "wall glide" action.
