Other than their height, the main difference in leg sets is the threaded rod on the end. Most of my legs have a metric M8X1.25 threaded rod on the end. IO do have a few with a M10x1.5 threaded rods. The one exceptions is the 6.5" legs that have an American standard 9/16 course threaded rod.

Do you need a custom height leg that you don't see below? I can cut most of the legs to any height you desire for an added fee. All custom orders are final so be sure you have the correct thread size before you order.

LEGS FOR LIFESTYLE/ERGO BASES
The Lifestyle™ bases are equipped with interchangeable legs. They are available in 8 different sizes: 2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch, 5 inch, 6 inch, 7 inch, 9 inch, 11 inch and 6 TO 10 inch adjustable legs. The different size legs allow you to use a different thickness of mattresses on each side of a dual king and they allow you to adjust the height of your bed to make it easier to get in and out of the bed. All of the legs except the 2" legs have plastic inserts on the end allowing them to be used on hardwood or tile floors. There is a hole for a push in caster in the 3', 4", 5", 6" and 7" legs. The 2" legs have a metal insert on the end to allow screw in casters to be used with them (they are too short for the push in casters). To use these on hardwood or tile floors you must put the rubber caster cups under them. You can also get the two inch height by using the screw in casters without legs.
These legs are set in sets of 4. Many of the new imported bases use six legs. To replace all of them you would have to buy two sets of four.
The bolts on my legs are a metric size - M8x1.25. If you are not sure what size the bolt on your legs is, go to a hardware store and buy a M8x1.25 bolt and see if it will screw into your base.

These legs fit the Lifestyle and Ergo bases. They have a push button that allows them to adjust in 1" increments. They have a plastic bottom to prevent damage on tile or wood floors. They will not accept a caster. They have a 2 1/4 inch diameter so they will not work with the rubber caster cups.

These legs are for Ergo or Lifestyle bases. They come in a set of four. Each leg consist of three pieces, each piece is three inches. They can be screwed together to make a three, six or nine inch leg. The threads on them are M8X1.25. They do not have a hole for a caster. The plastic washers go between each piece and on the top of the upper piece.

These legs fit Ergo or Lifestyle bases. They come in a set of four. Each leg consist of two pieces. One piece is three inches. The other piece is six inches. They can be screwed together to make a nine inch leg. The threads on them are M8X1.25. The bottom of the three inch sections has a threaded hole for either the six inch leg, an included felt bottom glide or a caster. The six inch section does not have a hole for a caster, it has a plastic glide. The plastic washers go between each piece and on the top of the upper piece.

These legs are for Lifestyle and Ergo bases. They are the only legs I have at this time that come in a set of six but they are also available in sets of four. Each leg consist of two pieces. One piece is four inches and the second piece is seven inches. They can be used separately or screwed together to make an eleven inch leg. The threads on them are M8X1.25. They have a plastic bottom with recessed threads so they won't damage tile or laminate floors. I do have screw in casters that can be screwed into the bottom of the leg. They will add 2 1/4 inches of height to the leg.

LIFESTYLE/ERGO 2" STAINLESS STEEL GLIDES
These have a M8x1.25 thread and will fit either the Lifestyle bases or the Ergo bases. If you only need 2" of lift and can't use casters then this is what I recommend you use. Where the 2" LIfestyle black metal legs have a threaded metal plate on the bottom that can damage tile or hardwood floors, the wide plastic glide on these legs will not cause any damage.

These legs and casters have a total overall height of 5 inches. The legs themselves are 2 1/4 inches in diameter. They come with a 3 inch screw in caster for a total height of 5 inches. They have the M8x1.25 threads. You could use them without the casters but you will need to put a coaster of some kind under them to prevent damage to the floor. The Rubber caster cups I have are not wide enough to fit these legs.

| SQUARE WOOD DESIGNER LEGS
If the legs on your bed are going to be visible, you may want to switch to these square wood legs. They are 8" tall and have the metric M8x1.25 threaded bolts on the top. They come in sets of 4. The available finishes are walnut, golden oak and stone washed. I do not stock them so they are a special order item.

These risers are 2 inches tall and have an American Standard thread of 3/8" coarse. The threaded rod is about 2/3 of an inch long. It has a plastic cap on the end with a recessed threaded insert for a caster or they can set right on the floor. They are sold in sets of 4.

REPLACEMENT CASTERS
We carry replacement locking wheels for most older beds. We have both the push in wheels and screw in wheels. There were two sizes of stems on the push in wheels. The smaller size stem (3/8 ") was only used on the Maxwell Bases. The larger size (7/16") was used on most other bases. The casters will add 2 1/4" to the height of the bed. The screw in wheels are for use on Lifestyle™ bases when the legs are removed. We also carry the screw in glides for the lifestyle bases.

These are the plastic inserts used in the old Electropedic bases. They push into the frame and the caster pushes into them. They have an outside diameter of 5/8", an inside diameter of 7/16" and the insert hole is 1.75" deep.

RUBBER CASTER CUPS
Adjustable beds stay in place quite well on carpet. On tile or hardwood floors its another story though, even with locking caster. That's because the casters are made of plastic, not rubber. These rubber cups are made just for adjustable beds. They are deep enough that the bed won't roll out of them and they don't slide at all when they have weight on them. They have an inside diameter of 2". The only disadvantage is that they make it hard to pull the beds apart when you are changing the fitted bottom sheets on the dual king sets. There are 4 cups in a set and each bed takes a set.
