On Lifestyle bases there are two bars that go from the frame out to the end of the last piece of wood on the foot of the base. It supports the end of the base. As bases get older, they tend to droop a little at the foot. I used to have to stack washers between the support bracket and the base. The manufacturers of the Lifestyle base got smart and switched to a turnbuckle. A turnbuckle is basically a long bolt that has threaded rods screwed into it. By turning the bolt part of the turnbuckle, you can make it shorter or longer. Making it longer will lift the end of a sagging base.
If your old Lifestyle base is sagging the foot and has the old non-adjustable supports, you can replace them with a set of the turnbuckles. They are sold in sets of two. There are two sizes. One fits beds that are 80 inches long and the other fits beds that are 84 inches long.
