GENERIC 115 VOLT LIFT MOTOR
THROUGH BOLT MOUNT
We carry generic 115 VOLT lift motors for most other brands of bed that use 115 volt motors other than the Maxi-Safe motor. These are designed for use on Lifestyle Bases and the plug matches those bases. The plug on the end of the power cord is different for each manufacturer. You may have to splice the plug from the old motor onto the new motor. Make sure the motor will fit before you cut the cord, once you cut the cord, it is not eligible for return. This motor can be used on wither the head or foot of the bed. Occasionally I will have a used motor from a trade-in bed.

GENERIC 115 VOLT LIFT MOTOR
CLAMP MOUNT
This lift motor has a plastic clamp on the body end. This plastic piece clamps around a round cross bar and fastens in place with a large round set pin. The old style of this motor mounted with a half circle metal clamp and 2 allen head screws. The old style is no longer in production. There is a head and a foot version of this motor. The difference is in how far it travels. The foot travels less. I usually keep the head motor in stock but can order the foot version. I have never had a used one of these motors.

An older version of clamp on motor used a metal clamp with pin instead of plastic. There was also a version with a metal clamp that was held was held in place by 2 small allen head bolts. Both of these older versions are replaced by the white plastic clamp shown above.

MAXI-SAFE MOTOR FOR MAXWELL K-BASES
The Maxi-Safe™ lift motor fits the Maxwell K-bases. They are called "Maxi-Safe" because they have a built in safety switch that shuts the motor off if the bed encounters an obstruction on the way down. It is connected to the bed by an "Acme Nut" that is designed to break instead of the motor if excess weight is placed on the bed. No other motors have these features! The same motor works for the head or the foot of the bed. The mold used to make these motors wore out several years ago and the manufacturer decided not to retool a new mold, so new motors are no longer available. I do have used motors available. They have a thirty day warranty.
