This style of retainer bar is designed to be mounted from underneath the bed. It is approx. 29 inches wide and 10" tall. It has the open loop mounting points. They are available in a matte black finish only. This is the only 10" tall bar I have for the foot of the bed.

This style of retainer bar is designed to be mounted on the top surface of the bed. It is approx. 29 inches wide and 6" tall. It has the open loop mounting point. The bolts and special washers to mount it must be purchased separately. They come standard in a flat black finish now but I can special order a chrome one if desired for an additonal $20.

This style of retainer bar is designed to be mounted on the top surface the bed. It is approx. 19 inches wide and 6" tall. It slides into plastic grommets that look like giant golf tees with a hole in the middle. The grommets are included in the price of the bar.

SIDE MATTRESS RETAINER BARS
These bars are made to be used on the side of the bed to keep light mattresses from sliding around when you get in and out of the bed. Side retainer bars are only 10" wide due to mounting requirements. You can put one or two on each side as needed, at the head and/or foot. I now have two models available.

10" X 4"
This model is 10" wide and 4" tall. They bolt onto the top of the newer model base platforms. They are not tall enough to work on older bases that have the 4 or 5 inch foam layer on top of the wood base platform (K-style bases). They are powder coated in white enamel.

10" X 10"
This model is 10" wide and 10" tall. They bolt onto the bottom of the older model base platforms that had 4"-5" of foam on top of the wood platform. Though they are designed for the older style bases, they can be used on the newer bases if you have a mattress that is over 10" tall. They are only available in a flat black finish.
