HOW TO ORDER
CALL ME (760-773-2337) OR E-MAIL ME TO PLACE AN ORDER. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS CAUSES YOU BUT BECAUSE THERE ARE NO GENERAL CROSS REFERENCES FOR ALL OF THE MAKES OF BEDS OUT THERE, MY EXPERIENCE HAS SHOWN THAT I NEED TO TALK TO YOU TO MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT PART. Once I have figured out the right part for you, there are three ways to order them. 1. Call or e-mail me for the total amount due, including any tax and shipping. Send a check, for the total amount due, made out to Jeff Alley. Send the check to P.O. Box 13404, Palm Desert, CA 92255. I will ship the parts as soon as the check clears.
2. I can send you a pay pal request for payment. I send the parts I have in stock out the next business day after I receive notice from paypal that a payment has been received and processed. If you pay Paypal by e-check, it may take up to 7 days for them to clear it. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF PAYPAL TO DO IT THIS WAY AND I NEVER SEE ANY OF YOUR PAYMENT METHOD INFORMATION. This is the most secure way to order. Send me an e-mail if you want to order this way and I will send you a Paypal Invoice.
3. (FASTEST) I can take a credit card over the phone. I will need your card number, the name as it is on the card, the 3 or 4 digit security code and the zip copde where you receive your invoice for the card. I will ship the parts the next business day. Call me at 760-773-2337 if you want to order this way. If I am out of the office, leave a message and I will call you back. Do not leave your credit card number on the message.

MAXWELL MOTOR CONNECTORA "Maxwell Motor Connector" is designed to break instead of the motor if excess weight is placed on the bed. The connector nut at the foot of the bed has a "skirt" attached that causes the foot motor to shut off sooner than the head motor. This skirt rarely breaks and can be switched from the old connector nut to the new one. New beds have the black connector nut pictured here, older beds had a light blue connector nut. They are not interchangeable. We still have a few of the light blue connector nuts left.
Watch a youtube video about the connector nut. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNHSkVh5kik

LOW VOLTAGE HAND CONTROL CORD. CLICK ON PICTURE FOR A LARGER VIEW. |
|
| LOW VOLTAGE HAND CONTROL CORD This is the cord that is use with the E-90, E-91 and E-92 low voltage hand control. One end plugs into the hand control and the other end plugs into the j-box under the bed. This newest version is reinforced at the end that plugs into the hand control. A similar cord is available for use in the Model 810 and 812 hand controls and the Titanium hand controls but without the reinforced end.

E-90 SERIES DUAL MOTOR CONTROL CORDS |
|
| DUAL MOTOR CONTROL CORDS
When you have two hard wired bases under a king mattress and want them to move as a single unit, you need to use a Dual Motor Control Cord. For the E-90 Series of controls this would include 2 separate low voltage cords without reinforced ends, a splitter and a coupler. (Hand control and cord with reinforced end not included). For an Oki motor set up it is a special cord that has two male plugs at one end and a single female plug on the other. $45

GENERIC 110 VOLT HAND CONTROL CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. I AM TRYING TO LOCATE A NEW SOURCE.
I have generic 110 volt hard wired hand controls that will work with older beds made before the switch to low voltage wired hand controls. There is only one supplier left that makes these controls.
Unless your control and junction box under the bed look like this one, you will have to either cut the old hand control away from its cord under the bed as close to the junction box as possible and splice the new one on or, if it has a plug on the end, cut the plug off and splice it onto the new hand control. I will send you the wiring codes for the new hand control when I ship it but you will have to determine the codes for your old hand control. Unfortunately, nobody ever published wiring schematics for the old beds. If you are unable to do this, your favorite electrician should be able to. I can pre-attach new covered spade plugs on the new hand control for you if you want at no extra charge. If your old control unplugs, you can send the it (with plug) to me and I will splice the new hand control onto your old plug.

HALF SIDE RAILSWe have half length side rails available for adjustable beds. The advantage of half length side rails is that they help keep you from falling out of bed yet they are out of the way when you want to get out of the bed. Most of our customers use them to hold onto getting out of bed. Two sets can be purchased if you need full length protection. They have a lovely chrome finish. They are easily installed by yourself or we can install them for you if you are in our service area.Click here for some close ups of the half side rail.

MATTRESS GUARDSMattress guards are the bar at the foot of the bed that keep your mattress from sliding off the foot of the bed when you raise the head of the bed. While the older mattress guards were flat black metal, the new ones are round chrome and are stronger that the old flat ones. They are available in several different styles: 1. Retainer bar that bolts to the top of the base platform (usually for a Lifestyle™ or S-Cape™ base made before mid 2011). These are 6" tall. 2. Retainer bar that pushes into plastic liners inserted into holes in the top of the base platform (toolless - fits Leggett and Platt bases made after mid 2011) These are 6" tall. 3. Retainer bar that snaps into mounting brackets mounted to the top of the base. These are 6" tall. 4. Retainer bar that bolts to the bottom of the base platform (most all other beds). These are 10" tall.
They are available several differnt widths.

OUT OF STOCK
I have to have these special made. Due to the low demand for this part, combined with a large minimum purchase from the manufacturer, it is not feasible for me to carry this item any longer. All that I can recommend is that you take your old belt to a automotive dealer and have them match it up to a fan belt of the same size.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
I hear from Blair, one of my customers, that he went to NAPA auto parts where they were able to match his drive belt up with their name brand of belt. It is an FHP belt #4L250 measuring 1/2" x 25". He states that it is working great on his bed. Thanks for the helpful hint Blair.

NEW VERSION OF MAXI SAFE-MOTOR. CLICK ON PICTURE FOR CLOSEUP |
|
| MAXI-SAFE™ LIFT MOTOR FOR L & P K-BASE The Maxi-Safe™ lift motor fits the Maxwell K-bases (also know as InComfort™ bases). They have a built in safety switch that shuts the motor off it the bed encounters an obstruction on the way down. It is connected to the bed by an "Acme Nut" that is designed to break instead of the motor if excess weight is placed on the bed. No other motors have these features! The same motor works for the head or the foot of the bed.
They have updated the design of the Maxi-Safe motor and made it more compact. They moved the compacitor to the same side as the motor and are using a more compact motor. It fits the same, last longer and is cheaper to ship than the old motors. I ocassionally have used motors at a greatly reduced price.

The 3 problems I usually see with the oki motors are: 1. bad circuit board (whole motor inoperative) 2. broken push block inside motor 3. plastic motor housing broken
I try to salvage parts from broken motors when I can. I usually don’t have any circuit boards but I generally have spare push blocks and motor housings available.

ANTENNA / POWER DOWN BOX
This is the latest antenna/power down box used on some of the bases with Oki Motors. It has a small push button on the face and a small LED beside it. The LED should light up and flash green when you push any button on your hand control, whether the bed is programmed to that hand control or not. There are four possible causes if it does not light up and flash:
1. The hand control is not transmitting. 2. The bed is not plugged in. 3. The antenna/power down box and/or cord is bad. 4. The circuit board in the Oki motor is bad.
If your antenna/power down box looks similar to this but has a rocker switch on the top, it is the old style that is no longer available.
$90
|
There is a slot on the back of the box for two 9 volt batteries. They provide enough power to lower the bed incase of a power outage. To operate this feature, press and hold the small button on the front. The LED beside the button should light up red when you press the button.
CAUTION: Be sure to fully depress the clip on the antenna/power down box plug when you unplug it from the Oki motor. If you do not fully depress the clip you will pull the socket out of the side of the Oki motor.

24 VOLT D/C MOTORS
The 24 volt D/C motors are used on beds with oki motors. They have a thin round cord coming from them with a flat 2 pin micro connector on the end. The top right picture is the current version of the motor. The bottom right picture is the older version of the motor. They both have the same plug on the end, the black 2 pin micro plug pictured in the bottom left picture. If your old massage motors do not have this plug, then this massage motor will not fit on your bed.
CAUTION: Be sure to fully depress the clip on the massage motor plug when you unplug it from the Oki motor. If you do not fully depress the clip you will pull the socket out of the side of the Oki motor. In the picture below, the plug on the left has the socket attached. If you are careful, it can be reattached to the Oki motor.

RUBBER CASTER CUPS
Adjustable beds stay in place quite well on carpet. On tile or hardwood floors its another story though, even with locking caster. That's because the casters are made of plastic, not rubber. These rubber cups are made just for adjustable beds. They are deep enough that the bed won't roll out of them and they don't slide at all when they have weight on them. The only disadvantage is that they make it hare to pull the beds apart when you are changing the fitted bottom sheets on the dual king sets. There are 4 cups in a set and each bed takes a set.
